Conference Session: Targeting Avoidance in Eating Disorders: The Use of Exposure and Behavioral Activation Interventions in a Residential Treatment Program

Brad E. R. Smith, MD, is a board certified psychiatrist in adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, specializing in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders and other complex or multiple mental health diagnoses.

Dr. Smith began treating patients with eating disorders in both his medical training and psychiatry residency training, and is currently the Medical Director of Eating Disorder Services at Rogers Memorial Hospital.  He is also an assistant clinical professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Not only an instructor of medical students and residents,  Dr. Smith also presents on various eating disorder topics locally and nationally.
