Conference Session: Absolutely Essential: Developing an Evidence-Based Therapeutic Alliance with the Complex Eating Disordered Client

Dr. Levitt has more that 35 years working with eating disorders, trauma and complex patients. He has been an active participant in the field of eating disorders treatment as a clinician, program developer, supervisor/trainer, and presenter. He served as Clinical Director for several hospital-based eating disorder programs, maintained a private practice and taught widely.

Dr. Levitt has published and presented on the topics of eating disorders, trauma, self-injury, addiction, and complex symptomatology, assessment, and intervention. He has co-edited three books on these topics and co-authored one text on treatment methods.
